Trails, eating & drinking—can anything be more complimentary? Ride north from historic Lockport along the I&M Canal and Centennial Trail to dine in beautiful downtown Lemont at the Stonehouse Pub, then return from whence you rode to Lockport for drinks and appetizers at Lockport's Embers Tap House.
Proceeds benefit I&M Canal Trail users in Lockport and Trails for Illinois.
This is the first of two 2018 Bike & Dine Lockport events (June 30 and September 15), each offering great dining and beautiful cycling along the historic I&M Canal.
The funds we raise will help Main Street Lockport improve connections between the I&M Canal Trail and the merchants, parks, and historical sites that make Lockport a town worth visiting. And they’ll also benefit Trails for Illinois, as we work to connect Illinois communities to an interconnected network of non-motorized trails.
We think Bike & Dines are just one of many enjoyable, popular, and easy events that Illinois towns can host to showcase the high quality of life that trails help to provide. Talk to us about helping you showcase your trail connection!
